Terra Alta, West Virginia
Small-batch, raw wildflower honey gathered from the untouched brierpatch meadows of the Allegheny Highlands — where flavor comes from elevation, not efficiency.

Our Story
Mountain Top Brierpatch Honey was born from a simple conviction: the best honey doesn't come from a factory — it comes from land that's been left alone long enough for wildflowers to write their own recipes.
Nestled in the hills above Terra Alta, our hives sit among bramble, clover, goldenrod, and wildflowers that no pesticide has ever touched. Every jar carries the distinct character of this place — the thin air, the cool nights, the unfenced meadows.
Our Products
Every variety is raw, unprocessed, and packed with the natural enzymes and pollen that make real honey unlike anything from a supermarket.
Our flagship. A complex, floral blend drawn from dozens of highland wildflowers — light in color, rich in character.
Edible comb straight from the hive. Chew it, spread it on cheese, or let it melt slowly over warm toast.
Same raw honey, carefully crystallized to a velvety spreadable consistency — perfect on buttered bread or biscuits.
From Meadow to Jar
Our bees roam freely across highland meadows, gathering nectar from wildflowers that no one has ever sprayed or seeded.
Frames are pulled by hand at peak ripeness, ensuring every drop has been fully capped and naturally concentrated by the bees.
Raw honey is gently spun from the comb — never heated, never pasteurized — preserving pollen, enzymes, and flavor.
Strained only to remove the wax cappings, then bottled in small batches so every jar reflects that season's bloom.
What People Say
The wildflower honey here is unlike anything I've tasted — you can actually taste the flowers. My family won't buy grocery store honey anymore.
I brought the honeycomb to a dinner party and everyone asked where I'd found it. It's the real thing — you can tell just by looking at it.
Knowing exactly where my honey comes from matters to me. Mountain Top Brierpatch is honest food — no shortcuts, no processing, just good honey.
